The New HOTS Jazz Orchestra is an 8 to 15 piece "Little Big Band", which recreates the hot dance and swing tunes of the '20s, '30s, and '40s. Our repertoire includes vintage ragtime, New Orleans-style Dixieland Jazz, popular hot dance tunes of the "Jazz Age", and classic swing. |
| HOTS performs professionally throughout the Southeast for private and corporate parties, weddings, anniversary parties, civic celebrations, summer wine festivals, and major regional art and cultural celebrations. For twenty years we have staged our own dances at the historic Forest Glen Ballroom in Silver Spring, MD. in Fairfax City, VA's Old Town Hall, and in Glen Echo's Spanish Ballroom in Washington, DC. We are now ready to bring our unique performances to North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida! |

HOTS travels internationally almost every other summer. We most recently were invited to play for Napier's world-famous Art Deco weekend and toured New Zealand's North and South Islands in February 2007. We toured Northern Italy in July 2004, South Atlantic France in July 2002, and New Zealand's North Island in February 2001. We visited Paris, Normandy and the Loire Valley in June 1999. Our first trip was to Providence and the Cote d'Azur in Southern France in July 1997. We are considering a tour to Southern Germany and the Danube Valley in July 2010. |
