The New HOTS Jazz Orchestra is an 8 to 15 piece "Little Big Band", which recreates the hot dance and swing tunes of the '20s, '30s, and '40s. Our repertoire includes vintage ragtime, New Orleans-style Dixieland Jazz, popular hot dance tunes of the "Jazz Age", and classic swing. |
| HOTS performs professionally throughout the Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia region for private and corporate parties, weddings, anniversary parties, civic celebrations, summer wine festivals, and major regional art and cultural celebrations. We have staged our own dances at the historic Forest Glen Ballroom in Silver Spring, Fairfax City's Old Town Hall, and Glen Echo's Spanish Ballroom. |

HOTS travels internationally most summers. We most recently toured Northern Italy in July 2004. We toured South Atlantic France in July 2002. We were invited to play for Napier's world-famous Art Deco weekend and toured New Zealand in February 2001. We visited Paris, Normandy and the Loire Valley in June 1999. |
Our first trip was to Provence and the Cote d'Azur in July 1997. We have been invited back to New Zealand in February 2007.
