Meghan Williams

Meghan received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Acting emphasis, with a Music Minor at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. While in high school, she was a pianist for the Jazz class and later became the vocalist for the extra-curricular group, The Jazztet. The Jazztet performed locally and regionally, including the prestigious Northrup Theatre in Minneapolis. Meghan received a music scholarship after performing a concert at the University of Duluth, Minnesota. She also performed numerous theatrical roles in Minneapolis; Mother Superior in 'Nunsense', The Singer in '10 Novembre', Fraulein Kost in 'Caberet' to name a few and has also been seen on the stage of The Guthrie Theatre. After college, Meghan went on to study opera at MacPhail, Center for the Arts, in downtown Minneapolis. After moving to Maryland, she performed various operatic roles with The Victorian Lyric Opera Company; 1st Lady in 'The Magic Flute' and The American Center for Puccini Studies; Una Conversa in 'Suor Angelica'-being her latest roles. She became part of The New HOTS Jazz in 2004 and has really enjoyed her time with this great group of people! When Meghan is not performing, she can be found working a full-time position as a Trust Administrator and as a part-time piano teacher.
